Name of the Coffee Shop: Radio Coffee and Beer
Website: RadioCoffeeandBeer.com
Location: South Lamar Area Austin, Texas
4204 Manchaca Rd Austin, Texas 78704

The Coffee: Radio uses is Stumptown Roasters and does not roast in house. Stumptown is a known as great roaster, but coming from California you will not be able to get the best coffee experience. That being said, I have only had one bad cup of coffee here.
The Atmosphere: Radio has one of the best coffee shop atmospheres in Austin. It was ranked “Best Coffee Shop 2016” by the Austin Chronicle. Radio has two resident food trucks one being Veracruz which serves some the best breakfast tacos I have had in Austin. If you have never been there try the La Reyna taco. The decorations are rustic and quaint and make you feel like you are in a cabin. Radio also brings in artists every night to play live music.
About the Shop: The shop was founded an Austin local and UT graduate Jack Wilson. He created a local pub style atmosphere that served great coffee and great beer with live music. Jack moved to Seattle after graduating and ended up getting a job at Victrola Coffee Roasters.
Atmosphere Score: 5 out of 5 coffee cups
